This is basically that other confession, just on the other side. But, it’s not like either is calling all shippers and non-shippers lesbians or anti-lesbians. But, you can’t deny that there are some fans out there who really do hate lesbian pairings. And there are some actual lesbian fans. What I don’t like is how some of the same people who don’t like pairings are all for shippings gay/straight couples together. That’s not right. So girlxboy and boyxboy can be shipped, but girlxgirl can’t?
But, back to topic, who gives a crap? At the end of the day, pairings are not real. It doesn’t matter if some fans think they are, the majority of shippers know that they’re fake and expect the girls to like other people outside of the group. And it doesn’t matter if these are real people. It doesn’t hurt them, and they most likely don’t give a crap about it. All idol group members get shipped, that’s what most fandoms do.

But having one after the other would most likely be best for the group. I don’t know what they have in mind for Momusu, but I think having Sayumi as leader for 2 years seems a bit of a stretch, we don’t know if she’ll be leader for more than a year or if her term will be as short as Gaki’s. Having Reina there would help the group. I also say that because she and Sayumi are the most popular members in the group right now. Losing them both at the same time would make a major impact on sales and the group’s image. Sure, wotas will go on to the next top girls, but it’ll still make a big change.

Girls who’ve been there longer don’t necessarily get more lines. Look at Iida, Kei, JunLin and other girls like them. Popularity is how Momusu works, Hello!Project is pretty much one big popularity contest when it comes to screen time. Even the talented girls don’t get many lines sometimes. The 9th and 10th gen would get more lines if certain members were more popular.
And, Riho isn’t as talented as some new girls that have come into Momusu. She started out with awesome dancing skills and that was all she had going for her until now, and even now she’s still not an amazing idol yet, but she was popular. That was the key to her success. That’s not meant to be thrown in a negative way at her, but it’s the truth. It’s how H!P as a whole works.

OP knows it’s a joke, but they still have the right to not like it. It does hit at Ayumi and her fanbase, afterall. The whole point of the line was to make Riho jokingly arrogant and ‘look down’ on Ayumi, even though we know that those aren’t her real feelings.

Um, OP? Have you heard of fanservice? And pairings in other fandoms? With fanservice, like when Sayu kisses another members, they actually want people to ship the members. That’s part of what boosts ratings and sales. And there are pairings in every fandom, not just Morning Musume’s. It’s totally normal. Most shippers don’t really think these girls will get together, it’s just for fun. And I don’t mean to take this to another level, but some of these anti-pairing secrets makes me think some fans are just plain homophobic.

I really can’t deny that I don’t like how some Riho fans are, because some of them can get annoying. Not all though. But dang, I’ve never seen an aggressive Aika fan once. I’m an Aika fan and the only other Aika fans I see are just happy that she has some lines, that’s all they say :/

I think it would’ve been better for Ai and Gaki to graduate instead of Koha and the others following suit. It would’ve balanced much better

I don’t know….it seems like Riho was the first and only one allowed to unleash her talents since she was the ace. But, I hope you’re right and the other kyukkies won’t become shadows of her.

Common sense reveals that there is no correlation between self-respect and whether or not you show your tits on the internet or how many people you sleep with.

Sorry to burst everybody’s bubble, but if there is not any correlation between those things, then it means that sleeping with a…
